WriteThink founder Lauri Maerov uses her passion for storytelling to bring out the true essence of each of her clients’ brands. She has played key roles in naming and branding initiatives for major companies worldwide, with an emphasis on natural and organic beauty, cosmetics, nutrition, eco-friendly products, natural pet care, lifestyle technology and entertainment.
WriteThink frequently collaborates with leading-edge design firms and brand strategists to help new and existing brands discover and express their authentic story – and distinctively position themselves with their target audience. Lauri and her team work closely with clients in a unique and innovative process to build and revitalize brand identity. Through her background as a Hollywood studio executive, screenwriter and award-winning fiction writer, Lauri developed a profound understanding of how to create stories that ignite a strong emotional connection with the audience. She brings this knowledge and her instinct for revealing the heart of the brand through language to every project.
Lauri's creative work continues to capture and sustain brand appeal with quantifiable results in the marketplace – and to win industry recognition. Her contributions to the creative team that launched MUD Make-Up to a nationwide consumer audience helped earn the 2009 American Packaging Design Award. Her writing and advertising concepts for print media and the web have gained nods from GD USA's American Inhouse Design Awards and a SheBusiness prize from Intel. Lauri's witty, conceptual work for SpaRitual is featured in the new textbook, Copywriting: Successful Writing for Design (Chronicle Books, 2009). She is a member of PEN West, the Southern California Health & Beauty Industry Professionals, the North Carolina Writers Network and Green Business Networking.
